Finally, a quick pump and refuelling on the emdorphine before making my way to pick dearie up after her classes.

Received a call from Weiqiang as he shared about the book by Allen Carr about quitting smoking, which is an abstract method that uses a reverse psychology method to initiate the path to quitting. He actually wanted to ask me out for a fellowship but I have my own activity this evening...he must elated about not having to wake up so early to travel to his school in ITE College Macpherson from his hometown in Jurong.

Though a little physical fatigue felt, I yearn for more; serious bodybuilding to gain masses that will be a breakthrough of my secluded training; who knows, I can make history with my bod that does not have bulk gain from sports medicine?

A liberated evening for me too, since no study commitments tomorrow and also going to Serene's aunt's place for house warming, before Ip Man 2.

•クラドーの iPhone•
Finally a cooler night of slumber as I dozed off soon after laying on bed with a short conversation with dearie; wished I could stay on to chat with her longer, but mind had been maimed due improper rest the night before, and a 2nd lesson on a weekday; even at this point I can start feeling some fatigue; imagine how the mental challenge would be at degree level.

I'll take this week as a break from weights training while I get mentally accustomed to the working life and schedule again; mostly adjusted, but some minor adjustments to room layout for optimum workout experience and minimal movement to inventories.

Glad to learn that dearie's tummy is feeling better now...hope those discomfort can just disappear so she can study in comfort with maximum concentration - less the television and Sandman's visit.

Another baking session of the Sun where you can literally cook a steak on the road; what's needed is a slab of tar, without fragments of sand, washed, cleaned, oiled and let it absorb the heat under the sun, that makes a solar hotplate.

Today's work completion at 5:30PM!  I have now more time to prepare for tonight's outing with dearie, to catch Ip Man 2!
Most of us went back earlier after the lessons as it has been a tiring evening; could tell from the contenance of the usual gang, and quite a few are missing from class; Louis, Tristan, Leon with Justin leaving after the break.

I guess Econs is somewhat a different concept of studies, looking at things in an abstract way that makes it somewhat a little more dififcult to understand the concept as most of us are not mentally trained that way.  That means more reading on our side for those who didn't really understand all.

Initially had planned to visit the fish shop to get some sinking food for cories, but I guess fatigue has started to lord over the mind; so it's better for me to get home; make use of the flakes I have at home to feed the cories; they're smart enough to surface to grab some food.
It appears to be a firestorm season as I have had trouble doing a good slumber as I wake up every night with a perspiration-soaked back and wet top, that I can feel the stench even as I use my hand to wipe them off; maybe it's time to swop the big fan with my table clip-fan as the latter isn't effective long range.

The previous night's had been done in intervals of an hour, each to be awoken in sweat breaks...I finally woke up at 7:20am to get ready for today's work, but lessons later, so that will be another challenge.

Been missing my workout fo almost the entire week as room still needs some finetuning to locate the Iron Zone where I sweat it all out and bulk those muscles...I need that to make the sleep more comfortable!
Plan was to eat a buffet at Vienna Restaurant in United Square.  We had somewhat followed the navigated route on iPhone but somehow ended up in Novena Square...oh no...will dearie be unhappy?

We decided to settle the lunch at Kenny Rogers as dearie is already having hunger spells that triggered a nauseous feeling; she's so beautifully dressed in her red dressed and hope she didn't mind my casual attire.

We ordered a Lucillous set which comes with 3 side dishes - the cheesy macaroni looked cute like a Napolean hat, which reeked of heavy melted cheese when placed near my odor sensor.  Creamy enough made it tasty.  So was the garlic potato that was purpled-skinned in big chunks.  The main dish were 2 pieces of chickens and 2 sets or beef ribs, which dearie didn't like much due to the odor from the meat; so there, I proceeded with my work for a total clearout.

The next stop was a walk from Bugis to Funan where we got her present, a Jabra BT2060 that was sleek and decently designed - black matt and slim, much more presentable compared  to the rest of the Easy Series from Jabra.

Dinner stop was at her place where her mum cooked quite a fair bit, before we cut the cake upon his brothe'rs return from RT at 10:30.  D24 durian which was highly addictive but can't eat much cos of the fullness; and I have to watch my diet too since I've already crossed Band 1 with a metabolic cut.

Eruption started to uprise when I was on my way back and chatting with Songjie on the phone about 9D, and the trip to Bali which dearie was concerned about those women who are there and can do anything.  Planned trip was from 28 - 31 Jul where we will be meeting his league friends while taking a break from work.

Fortunately I reached home in time to dispose the "fermented durian".
A day just before dearie's birthday; this is the 2nd time I'm celebrating with her and intend to make her enjoy it.  Okay, eating plans: to dine at Vienna Restaurant located at United Square since there's a lunch buffet...though Wan has offered help to get a good deal at Equinox, I shall leave that when I reach my personal capacity to do it...I'm sure dearie will be overjoyed when I reach that level to bring her to dine at finer places :)

Looks like another late night ahead; weather had been bakingly hot such that my room is almost turning to a giant convention oven; fortunately the guppies are not affected as they're kept away from the sun and lights have been turned off to preserve the room-temperated aqua habitat that they're living in.
It's the first time I'm feeling this resentment to go to work on an amplified basis; why do I need to rush?

My reasoning disliking, that I've shared with Songjie in the morninf are as follow:

Going to toilet at subject to availability of toilet tags (first known in my workplace-alike environment), making it a uretic challenge.

Taking leave is like taking $1m out of the National Vault - leave applied 8 months beforehand on a non-peak day can be rejected with reason of 'schedule doesn't permit', yet some people can go to Europe for 3 weeks.

Attending to mandatory events like In-Camp Trainings render attendees' incentive a straight zero without consideration, no doubt there's satisfactory work performance.

Considering the above points, what is the point for rushing to work? I might as well rest at home by optimising my medical benefits.

I guess it's really time for me to move out of call centre, after sharing with Lenz, which also include other perosnal struggles against my financial gains at this stage in time, compared to many.

Quite a free day apart for the morning that was filled with a handing over, collection of new uniform and a post ICT survey...well, most of us are giving the similar feedback on NS experience section...pretty steamy as some of us had slept pretty late after staying up to chat.

I managed to move all my stuff to my car by afternoon. Nothing else I need from emart since I already have got the pair of New Balance for dearie.

Changed to the new uniform in my car; it's so much cooler and lighter and no way that I will want to go back to wearing the old set. I'm keeping the old ones on account of being with me for the past 11 years.

Such sweltering afternoon made even a walk to my car a sweltering one...so total in all, I have 5 bags to bring back; field pack, soldiering equipments, laundry, fresh clothings all bagged with new uniforms, that also packed New Balance and other footwear.

We sat in the airconditioned office where we chatted casually, took a few pics before we are cleared to leave. The special fellowship that's weaved during this time was something that had been unspoken, yet can. felt within all of us. It's the cooperative spirit that we share that made the experience an unforgettable one.

Bookout at 6:45pm. The traffic had been massively packed from Toh Guan Road till Bukit Batok.

The night was spent catching up on the good old army days for those NSF comrades, and also some matters about recent happening in battalion while I stayed up to wait for my ammo guys.

Haizul shared with us about the haunted Bedok Camp I that has a tree that houses a Pontianak and he has seen one during his prowling duties. Upon seeing a sihoulette leaping from building to building, there's a high possibility that the 'leaper' is non-human. As there had been history of a Bangladeshi worker who cut a hole in a fence at Camp 1 and snuck in to sleep in the vancant accomodation block, he proceeded to check and found no one. His prowling buddy was frightened and dashed off towards the vacant empty bunks when he realised it was abnormal; but only upon Haizul's prompting on the wrong directon, he ran back to the guardhouse without waiting for him.

Before Haizul returned to the guardhouse while on double quicktime walk, his guard commander comms him and asked why was his buddy back earlier than him. His buddy was pale when Haizul was back in camp. He also went on to share with us a massive possession in Indobesia when a Pontianak-inhabited banana tree was cut down for school development.

A sign of Pontianak existence: an aged banana tree that still stands as strong as a healthy tree.

The good news was that we can bookout tomorrow as CO has seen the effort we have all put in our ATEC yesterday.

All slumber for night chatters at 3:15am.

•クラドーの iPhone•
Body maintenance; nothing much for the QM Platoon except for those on ammo run; I had visited Weiqiang and company after my gym session from 8:15am - 9:25am; fully furnished gym allows me to use free weights and some machines to replace barbells since there's none available.  Weiqiang has given me some feedbacks about their ammo IC's attitude...something that has been fedback to my QM.

BMI:  23, still healthy for my height but I still need to lower the fat contents in my body.

Most of the guys are either resting in bunk, or playing PSP, including myself, and also taking occasional naps.

A Century Thunder woke me up at 4:40PM; Terry also jumped out of slumber as the sound was extremely loud; as if a piece of Heaven has fallen on one of the buildings....anyhow, we still went back to slumber.
The day has arrived. I've been tasked to guide Terry and Hassan to Akhbar. Dropzone was at BCTC and we arrived pretty early at 820hrs, all good to go.

The sight of the hill freaked us out as it looked exceptionally steep. However, upon closer examination, the ground looks better. Commanders have been assigned to select the site for digging, before the assesors arrived. Actual test began at 930hrs, so all started to dig with all their might. Terry had made a perfect shellscrape where 2 guys from Support, namely Chua and Fauzi, being their first attempt, were bushed, thus those who had completed earlier came along to help. All of us achieved the
Grade A score, an exceptionally good score.

We tagged along with the rifle company back to camp,
lunch all brought back to our battalion building. Not too bad a lunch; tomyam fish with Thai style rice, long beans and sausage.

I played a couple of rounds of Naruto before taking a a
slumber at 2pm, and woke up at 6pm for dinner. Quite a delicious dinner with pandan rice, golden fried chicken (Ruisheng's "ah gold gold" came to my mind) with sambal chilli, and some spicy fish.

We caught a drink and had some casual chat before Yusaine came to join us sitting, after the run. He commented that the road along the MT line was creepily dark, as he felt insecure and kept looking back when he ran along that path, and having the stigma that he'll see a lady in white seated on one of the benches at the training shed. Eww, that sounded creepy.

QM announced the excellent work we had done and Terry and Akhbar were allowed to be off till tomorrow 2200hrs.

Muscle are beginning to feel the tense from yesterday's workout as I had done an Overdrive session; all dualist movements are done with 7.5kg each side, and 10kg for bicep curls. Somehow, the other parts are not maximisly trained.

Slumber time...it's going to be a less busy day for us tomorrow as most of our work had been done for this ICT, so we now look forward to the happy hour that comes.

Drink like there's no tomorrow!

•クラドーの iPhone•
The morning had been spent outfield, practising our grenade-throwing at BCTC; looks easy but it isn't.

I managed to get a better grade with some practise, bit probably with the stress that it will be graded, the results didn't turn out as expected. No matter, as long as I've done my best.

RSM, MSG Eric Sim has given us a drinks treat when Ninja Van uncle came to provide his food and drink services. He certainly has the calibre to rally us all up.

This time round, I took on the role to link up trooplifting back to camp as our lunch is all in camp. Morning done.

Weapons cleaning occupied me in the afternoon before I hit the gym and did some updates for my PTCs that has not been done for awhile.

Tomorrow, ATEC Stage 1 test, and I will be with Terry while he is being accesssd for shellscrape digging.

It looks like a long day for all of us.

•クラドーの iPhone•
Nothing much for the day except a morning underslung training where all of us got to familiarise ourselves with the knots for rigging the load; much more organised and swiftly done.

Training ended early for lunch, and those who had done the shellscrape digging last Friday was granted time off from 1300 - 2200hrs. For myself, a disturbed night yesterday as I was only able to turn in at 430am, from the heat and buzzing of mosquitoes around
me. Strangely, no bites at all.

Fully concussion after lunch till I was awoken by Weiqiang at 330pm, before getting ready to depart camp at 4pm for classes.

Torrental rain as I was making my way from Starhub Centre after realising that today's lesson is actually at Wilki - made it in time but dinner had to be held till 830pm during break, as Sophia foodcourt was out of operation today, unusually. みょじゃね。

First contact with econimics and the lecturer was a replica with 陳建斌; appearance, humour and built.

It was a mindfilling session that interest was sustained with historical links, including communism and Karl
Marx.
The paper is once again over, leaving me with much time to recover. Dozed off at dearie's place while attempting to catch a wink just before going back - fortunately there was no fine when we made our way back to my home to do some tidying and aqaurium maintenance.

Albino sucker kept hiding in an unreachable place in dearie's tank, so we had to let it live there.

By far the strongest guppies I have are the golden albino pairs, which are well-kept with healthy water and feeding - minimising food intake while I'm away since it's only a span of 3 days. From tomorrow onwards, it'll be 5 days long so they should be fed more before a WC to be done.

Dearie had been so nice to help me tidy upy aquarium area...guess it's something I'm still not used to as I have been doing everything myself all these while. Still, it's her company that matters; she got a good rest after the flu medication from Dr Tan aided her to enter slumber as she's showing signs of cold with the increasing sneezing spell that actually affected both of us.

I've adopted the cupboard from my mum's room, that allows me to place objects off the floor, creating more space. With the sale of some used printer cartridges, bringing our profit up by $47.50, that will bring us a decent meal that leaves us to decide where we can have a sumptous buffet.

The night came soon, and it's time for me to make my way back to camp before another military week.

•クラドーの iPhone•
Finally, the Business Statistics paper is over; it had proved much less tougher and stressful after attempting each and every section that was blanked out when I first skimmed through the questions. Some of them, in fact, are identical to assignment questions, except figures are changed.

The preparation spent on reading up all chapters have not gone in vain, fortunately.

All I need is a good rest tonight to recover from the massive depletion of chakara at my training chamber.

•クラドーの iPhone•
I've finally got the assignment out of the way after battling between plotting the graph in Excel, or doing a manual written copy and submit tomorrow before exam commences.  It's done, all neatly written and graph nicely drawn...at last I can get it out of the way!

Rain battle for momentarily before dinnertime, but I've already refuelled at 4:15pm; so dinner's not required "till further notice".  Oh no, had upsetted dearie with my troubled tone that I got a verbal reprimanding...it's like Kon being squashed with the "pee" sound when trampled on by Rukia when he did something silly - I miss this anime, due to exams, have to keep it back till ICT and exams are over.

Wonder how's dearie's lesson today?  Hope the Indian-accented lecturer will not bore her lessons, but at least far better than having the psycho-Gimmley Dwarf lecturer pressuring students to answer the question he posed and holding up the class if the student is not able to give him a satisfactory answer.

Did a catchup with Ben who decided not to go to Australia for studies as he doesn't want to leave his mum all alone.  He's started work at Citibank recently; hope all's good for him.

Back on full throttle for revision; to cover all 8 chapters tonight using my Time Compression style.
The previous caller had been able to give me to company's URL, www.asialinx.com.sg as they are a representative agent for a travel agent, who operates in Singapore.

A call from the above no came, and was greeted by a pleasant-voiced lady, Myra, who explained to me that the call is actually from her company's telemarketing department, and she has noted my request not to be contacted by the department concerned, but without gurantees that I won't receive such calls in future; not an issue about that, but at least one line down from nuisance callers.

Good service, thought she tried inviting me again and assuring it is not a time-sharing program, I appreciated it with a decline.
Received a call from this no where I was greeted by an Indian-accented gentleman who told me that I was invited to collect a $250 travel voucher but wasn't able to give me a satisfactory explanation as to how my contact details are passed to their side.  I suspected it was another time-sharing scam which I've came across twice, that both had been unpleasant experiences.

I gave the caller a piece of my mind and hung up his call.
Dozed off in the evening from the aftermath of heat from the afternoon and did some reading online about celebrity CGH being one flirt; some say he's gay while most commented that he was far worst than LNX.

The afternoon heat was intense to the extent that I could almost doze off during the journey back.  Unpacked and books laid out for revision, I just realised that my "charging kit' had gone missing from all the bags I brought back including laundry; I must have left it in my cupboard back in camp...along with my thumbdrive containing some personal information as well as my assignment which had been partially done; I've been granted off till Saturday in view of my examinations, thus, I can do catchup on my revision.  The ICT schedule had been far too packed for me to even touch my study materials.

Hope dearie's diet can now be widened back to normal; but it's still better for her to consult her mum on the types of food which are still unsafe for her during this recovery phrase; including fish and chicken, the latter being more "poisonous".

The air outside camp indeed is great, though temporal, but next week will be a tedious one when we go through ATEC Stage 1; learnt from Junhao that the year following next will be ATEC Stage 2 where training will be done in the following ICT next year, 6th and 7th respectively.  In time to come, all these days of Band of Brothers, brotherhood will become history and we may not see each other in life as scheduled to be back in camp like this.

Being back to military life for a week or so has somewhat made things very different as we all work together, man to man, to accomplish our common objective in training.  Like what CO said, something special is contained within this unit that creates this closeness we share...beyond comprehension in words as of this time.

For now, thoughts aside, focus on my revision!

I was at a place that resembled where my 1st uncle, mother's side stayed, at the first level of the house were 2 dragon heads carved out of stone that spits water out after a rain, into a stonecarved well.

I saw 2 thugs where one of them later appeared to be searching for something; upon closer examination, it turned out to be Robert Gotoking, an ex colleague. I asked what he was doing when he was holding a picture in his hand; it's a picture of a girl named Ariel, who is the twin of her elder sister, that is his girlfriend.

An evil aura surrounded him as he said that he will do a soul swap as he finds the younger sister prettier.

Switchscene; I'm standing at the bus stop opposite Paya Lebar MRT nearer to the olden shophouses, and Tay was telling me something that could not be made out.

It was not reality, fortunately.

•クラドーの iPhone•
Another day done; field first aid lesson before lunch an had a 'threesome' when partnering with Barry and Alex due to oddity of numbers. It's a refresher course in preparation for the test next week.

Guowei's back; he had been missing at the last ICT as it was learnt that he did not turn up when he was tasked to...anyhow, it's the past and hope all's alright for him.

The timing for our lecture was screwed up again; it starts only at 3:30pm and I had been knocked out from Dr Tan's medication, for more than an hour before this. It's magical; sneeze had ceased fire completely...could it be due to lack of rest that aggrovated the sneeze? If it is, this medicine must have forced me to enter slumberland.

Good stuff (like what Eko likes to say)

I could only attend part of the afternoon's lesson on field deployment as I was scheduled to attend tonight's final lesson for Business Statistics. Maximum absorption rate initialised. The conducting active personnel was an officer whose countenance reminded me of Junxiang, who got registered for marriage recently a he fulfilled his dream to be an officer during his NS days.

Fortunately I had arrived earlier after going through a heavy storm and splashing through the roads of Upper Bukit Timah Road that is exceptionally low-terrained; the flood earlier in the year had been disasterous for many car and home owners along that vicinity as a continous rain drenched the place for 3 hours.

Assignment done over dinner caught at Subway; something yummy that I've not tasted for awhile; I certainly deserve this treat.

I've managed to absorb much of the lesson tonight as it is the last of this subject. Doing more will help gain confidence and sets the mind in a ready-to-do mode so I can get over the exam quickly and well.

Thought I could visit the 24hour NTUC Fairprice at Jurong Point but it seems that they close at 11pm; can't see much as most of the stores at Jurong Point are already closed...at least I managed to get the NETS Flashpay card that can come in handy next time.

Medication from Dr Tan has somewhat set in; wonder what time I can get my off pass tomorrow and for the rest of the week. I really need that time to ensure I'm well prepared for the exams.

Dearie had sensed a dip in my mood recently; possibly the stress from uncertainties of the time off, and the delayed understanding of the subject. Fortunately most are made up in today's learning so that part of stress is somewhat alleviated.

•クラドーの iPhone•
A night of mild rest that had me awakening a couple o times from a little heatiness surrounding me. Ate, showered, bathed, and a little time for me now.

Today's program: IPPT, uniform sizing and some outfield exercises on first aid training; for myself, will still book out at 4pm for the last class in preparation for exams on Saturday...timing to leave camp will not be out till later in the day when I get more off passes.

Gaudy visions of dreams came to my mind but nothing's clear so far...the only rememberence was that I had wondered if I'm sleeping in the dessert.

•クラドーの iPhone•
CO's parade followed by route march to SAFTI range for our day shoot; sun was extremwly blazing even in the early houra of the day; I had brought with me the deferment letter that had been painstakingly crafted last night at dearie's place before making my way back home last night.

It had turned out to be a disappointment from S1's attitude of shoving me away with a quick and ready answer after trying to negotiate with him; the verdict was such that I could arrange for time off from Wed onwards in view of the exams on Business Statistics this Sat, where preparation would be crucial.

It took awhile for me to settle down in consideration that S1 had mentioned that it'll be good for me in a way that my high-key incamp will still be clocked in towards my liability fulfilment...well, that might just have a blessing in disguise.

Range was well-done, I had only missed one out of the 20 shots that we were tasked to complete, so the rest of the time, free and ready to get back camp after a snooze on the makeshift bed. Had a firearms talk with Bert about sniper rifles lile Styer Aug that being used by British snipers; a neat cool weapon that mighr be obselete soon. DY S4 had had gave a cute comment; matching his rolly-polly built, 'isn't that great'
when he learnt I had been scheduled to be in the same detail as him, known as 'A1' that all who learnt about it frowned and cringed their eyebrows upon hearing it.

Man, what a unique name.

Weapons cleaning with Weiqiang and Alex's company in bunk made time easier to pass. In time to come, almost 4 and ready to book out after sending arms...the wait had been really a delay as I could only send at 1616hrs when the armskoteman came. By the time I left camp, it was already 1628hrs. It was only through the chat with Weiqiang that I learnt that Barry had been going through a series of mild depression.

Dearie's still having itches around the surgery wounds - a sign of recovery that she will be well in no time. Just the endurance of abstaining from selected food in her diet during this recovery phase.

I made it to lessons in time after catching my favourite Ban Mian near my home, a good shower and catch up with mum. Guppies and other fishes are all doing fine; still having deaths in fry breeder boxes...I have to prepare a tank for them.

A short 30min stay at dearie's place was done and did some revisions and assignments at her place before the Night Battle to West took place - arrived timely at camp with a warm 夏桑菊 made by dearie; just simply holding the capped cup brings so much warmth and touch to my heart - I hate to leave her place but it might be better as I suffered a blast of sudden temperature change within, triggering a series of endless sneezes.

Almost time to rest...

I've read about this Stomp news that talked about a young girl posing indecent pics and details of herself and her boyfriend online; which the blog is dead.  It's still reflected here:

http://amosatlantis.com/girl-posts-pics-of-herself-and-bf-in-the-nude-and-reveals-intimate-details/

Her original blog here, http://addictive-milk.blogspot.com/, has displayed much details about her sexual experiences with her boyfriend as well; on the moral side, such should be kept to their own if it's really something precious shared between them.

As far as I can see, this guy is only making use of her to satisfy his sexual cravings; once he has grown tired of her, and looking for something else for his match, she will definitely be devastated by the sudden change in her boyfriend.  Let's hope she will learn her lesson the right way, and I pray that she won't learn it, the hard way.
It was a reenactment of the Nanking Massacure incident yet carried some linkage to how the popband, FIR was formed.

A group of civilians were scattered within a huge concreted shelter that resembled a tunnel, with chants from the local authorities to put a stop to a certain group, that appeared to have anti-government propaganda.

Most of the civilians here had been earmarked as belonging to this resistance, thus, a mutual agreement had been made among all who are in this shelter, to stand up for their rights.

A resistance action was taken by throwing of bad eggs, that triggered a chain of object hurling war between the riot police and those of the resistence. Some tried to run out from the shelter, but upon hearing the announcement of calling in an airstrike, they fled back.

The hurling war turned heavier with the items thrown. Stones or concrete chunks are now used, and one of the resistors was hit on the head and fell, many came to his aid and lots of blood could be seen at his hitspot. A group of people ran across the road and jumped through a hole in the wall - 1 of them was the only girl in the band.

A similar fight was in the next areas and another 2 sequences of jumps occured til there were 3.

FIR was thus formed.

Cutscene to a place of showing placement of shrimps and protecting her eggs from harm by placing her in some special tanks and stunning the predator through some means. I was strategising this with dearie and we appeared in a fish shop which showed a wide variety of fishes and tanks displayed; it reminded me of C328.

Back to reality; 7:15am and time for breakfast.

Return to bunk at last.

The afternoon had been out in the field as I been deployed for ammo collection in the field. Much of the time had been spent chatting with those in the ration team, who also at the same spot in Ama Keng training area.

QM had been talking informally about choosing not to be here even if there was monetary returns; many of us feel the same way too; but I guess we have to do it. Bert had discussed with his girlfriend to move out of Singapore so as to avoid being called up. We shared a good laugh while talking about following CPT Luqman's Avante out, while skigliding in boots all the way out, in fully-camoflauged face, and he'll be wondering why does he have an identical view in his backview mirror, seemingly having 2 trees following him all the way out.

Even for myself, there's such consideration, but that also means I have to give up my beautiful hobby of guppy breeding. I'll definitely take dearie along with me where there's a chance to work abroad.

Nightfall at 7:30pm; moving out to Lim Chu Kang and we can finally do our collection routine and get ready for our final run; one of the trainers, WO Noor, chatted with me casually about weekends being burnt for SISPEC and OCS trainees whose live firing are conducted on weekend; fortunately, we are the only unit when arriving and returning today.

Reception was poor in the training area, and there was a major hiccup by the trainer who tried to bring us to Lim Chu Kang area; Haniffah, the driver also commented on the waiting done as we were there for literally 10mins; bored to the extent that I had to play Brickbreaker on my Blackberry though it's such a boring game.

All's done at 11pm before making the final run back to camp, where we could return our stores and kept QM informed about the status.

I saw SSG See at PLAD as the DO; he had aged much as all his hair had turned grey; I could not see his rank has he could very well be a warrant officer at this time. Still the very quiet personality of him that is prominent; and he was known as the elder Chua Bee Peng, whom bore great resemblence in terms of appearance as hairdo.

Bookout for lessons at 11am tomorrow and have the entire evening and Sunday off; the real challenge awaits for us from the next week onwards - and fortunately I'm off on the evening for lessons, so all evening lessons are evaded.

Managed to get some updates from dearie that Esther will be taking over Sally's role as front office manager, whose last day is today; guess that's where those at FC will learnt about her management capacity, which enough has been said in the past; now I wonder if someone competent will be taking over Esther's role and make the place a better environment.

She's turning in soon by the time I called her; that sweet voice reminds me that I have a place where I can rest my heart, knowing someone loves me and is there to care for me. But right now, it's my turn to show my TLC during her recovery phase; something I need yo learn to give on an unconditional basis.

Goodnight world, missing my dearie and looking forward to seeing her tomorrow!

Ammo run done for the morning and got everything distributed out. The new landrover is now a Ford Everest that's fully airconditioned with inclinometer, compass and thermometer reading.

Luee had been a great company and got to learn from
him on his trips to various countries ie Korea, Japan as he didn't travel too far. Also got to learn from him and his experiences while studying in NTU, that the studying styles aren't the same at Diploma and Degree levels. A glancd at his NRIC indicated he is of the same age as I am, but a notch higher, educationwise.

We got to chat up with an outspoken NSmen whom I thought was Luee's colleague / friend, but he happened to be someone he knew when he inprocessed yesterday. Heard that this guy (Roy Wong's his name) is already 35 and is a broker, which Danny holds a similar role at DBS.

Dearie had just woke up at 12pm...she must really had a good rest for those that had been lost during hectic hours she had back then when working under pressure from some demanding agents. Right now, my greatest concern is for her to be well and enjoy the recovery phase.

Next order will be when ammo return is ready and of we will be doing incamp or outside. As I will be away for lessons at certain training phases, Luee will be on his own, thus he needs to absorb all the knowledge he requires for this role.

So for now, a little rest and relax.

Entered a street of the 1930s where old private houses appeared, and there was a pursuit that went on with a gang that appeared to e a kidnapping case.

In those days, thugs were known as 'Ah-Feis', and this particular gang were in some rush attack; leaping across drains, slide attacks and running through petrol stations that were blue-themed, that colour of Esso.

A fight broke out in an olden coffeeshop to find the victim, that could bring the thugs a huge ransim as they barrage through provision stores, furnitures etc in the storeroom.

Switchscene shows a young child that was about 0 years old, with the agility of that in animes, escaping through the windows and runnin across the roofs of terrace houses. Smokescreens ie smoke grenades were used to his advantage while he ran under cover, with thugs hot their heels in persuit. As the child was of caucasian ethnity, he spotted a place where there were lots of Caucasians and their family, that looks somewhat like a gathering, he slipped through the windows, but was only noticed by one of the kids - the thugs had lost sight of him even after numerous attempts to deduce where he will be hiding.

A transfomation took place - a high-tech 'washroom' with usage indicator LED displayed on the shell-like door also doubled as a makeover kt, showed a man having his fingernails and shoes polished by buffer wheels, stepped out to the 'prom attire' in a gala event.

This quickly switched back to an old street that reminded me of buildings near my office, where I had in mind, a reminder of $400 fine for trespassing these properties, showed a house which was grand and huge like Sun Yat Sen's home in Singapore. It's the 2nd time I've seen this home, and they now have huge guarddogs who walked out, later, servants of the home started flooding the nearby area quickly and also noble guests appeared moving out from the residence.

This time, the residence had transformed into something really grand, that walls appeared to be sturdy like Forbidden City. Servants, dressed like those in DOA movie, were seen to be around, also armed with swords.

I was told to leave and I followed the 'exit' that turned out to be a touring path and I was on a moving platform with a few 'visitors'.

It started an autoelevation and a voice guide appeared announcing dos ans don'ts observe when touring. A probe floated in front, started shooting some who were secretly snapping with their camera phones, from its wooden barrels, also announcing that unauthorised photography is prohibited.

This struck a certain fear in the 'tourists' and it's wakeup time.

I've finally resolved the time off arrangement for my classes with my QM who has allowed me to outprocess a day earlier on 23/04, in view of my classes on afternoon on 24/04, that will clash with the outprocessing time range.

Managed to have a good catchup with dearie over the phone on what had occured during the day - the evening was filled with fun, a small fellowship of specialists who were waterproofing the range cards along with the telp that we had obtained from S2 branch. Hassan was trying ti make his range card fully waterproof and even wanted to add a ziploc bag to enhane that, and we all burst into a hearty laughter.

A new linkup; Luee who was from SP Coy, was posted here and will be my understudy for the ammo run role that will be conducted tomorrow. A friendly guy whom I could have a good chat with; new blood into this battalion which is already halfway through our NS cycle.

An earlier and quiet night for a dayful of event that will take place tomorrow. Some say it's a break from work, but some might still hang on the rights of civilian lifestyle that we all choose to live.

Goodnight world, and my dearie...will miss you till I'm back from ICT.

Finally out of the lecture auditorium where we had been cooped up with multiple briefings back to back that promotes slumber and a painful butt due to cushionless seats not designed for extended hours sitting.

The training program had been pretty packed from all the briefings conducted, thus I forsee that we'll be having quite a tough time. This time round is a unit proficiency tests where we have a fair bit to do; fortunately my platoon are not combatants, thus most of the tests are exempted.

All these while, mind has not been put off dearie as I'll
miss her so much; I can somewhat evade trainings on Saturday afternoons but not sure if there will be a nights off on Sundays that I can go and keep her company. Is she feeling better apart from those wound pains from yesterday's surgery?

For now, free till 8pm. Good time for a nap minusing thought of wearing this silly uniform; I rather be working in office and building up OT hours for claiming.

CO's opening speech followed by a long briefing by ITI LTC who rattled on about unit proficiency test, so much to the extent of putting me into slumber under the somewhat comfortable temperature of the aircon; all tactically done, hidden from the speaker's sight.

Managed to talk to QM and DYS4 about time off, so will be showing them the time table schedule that clashes with ICT schedule - a good way to evade unnecessary work on Monday nights and on a Saturday afternoon.

Nap time for awhile.

It has been a couple of months since I've moved to Linda's team; emotionally more at peace now, considering all the clear communications we had with regards to OT payback arrangement, submission of leave, etc.

When I think back, those days under my ex TL was horrandous; no proper commnication about my OT payback arrangement, resulting in high net losses for my OT claimable and doing even more work in a shorter time; resulting in massive frustrations which could no longer be contained within; even people around me could feel it though all are unspoken.

Come to think of it; why would someone with high MC rate be promoted to be a team leader?  Apart from knowing how to bootlick, I can't think of any reasons in the logical sense that points light in this direction; in fact, it's bad lighting that the management sees, that results in such a decision.  Christopher, being his senior, is much more qualified to be his post, and also that he's well-liked by everyone in our department.

I'm here to give Linda my best support; in fact apart from her, the only other person I can think of is Mandy, who has helped me arrange for the one hour lunch after almost 2 years of taking staggered lunch; simply unhealthy for me and such a rush.  She has been the one hearing most of my unhappiness and after her feedback, it was then I was transferred to be under Linda's care.  A heavenly decision for me, for now.  Linda will definitely have my best support.
Got this call which I didn't pick up, but made a call after it has been missed; as such weird nos could possibly be from telemarketers.  I made the call back and was confirmed that it was from the sales and marketing department in DBS, which I suspect, is another sales call for Direct Marketing products.

The credit card application sent yesterday can't possibly be so soon; as I only sent out the mail after 5pm...if they need to call me, most likely it'll be during my ICT, which iPhone has to be with me as I don't want to be cut off from the rest of the world even during my military training.
Not good; the Coldstrike still prevails in my system; could it be due to lack of rest or a delayed recovery has been caused by a damaged Regeneration Core?

Tomorrow's my ICT and I can't even go back to office to work today; there's still an adverse effect in my head that Dr Tan has prescribed to me 2 medications that will make me sleepy...I hope to be well soon so that I can have a good rest for the day just before I report for ICT tomorrow.
It was at Clementi Blk 328, know as "C328" to fish hobbyist, where I saw my colleague Kent Cheah, who was smiling and telling me about something nearby; the scene was in the evening with well-lit surroundings, with familiar buildings and the scene of people walking past the event stage which appears to be pretty newly-built.  It was a short scene and nothing seen about me going to any of the fish shops that I frequently visited back then.

I had later on awoken to the continuation of the Coldstrike, that had plagued me pretty deeply yesterday.
I didn't bother picking up this call as I suspect it's another sales call from telemarketers.  Whether they call me during or after office hours, the outcome will be such that I won't answer their calls as they are all out to sell me something I don't need.
It had came to my mind on posting a remark on how celebrities are paid as they seem to be living a lavish lifestyle compared to most of the people in Singapore; driving expensive cars and living in luxurious residences; a Silversea ad where Michelle Chia appeared walking past, just right in front of me struck that question and a sudden change took place;

I was at the Sony Ericsson lookalike shop at Tampines MRT station where the new shops lining around the train station was, with Jacky Chan and Samo Hung, who were there to shop for a walkie talkie, which looks far more advanced that those subscribed-line type from Grid, made by Motorola; we were talking about getting it and it'll be useful in mountain climbing activities which the network and range coverage will be far more superior as that appeared to be a new model; dual LCDs, which the 2nd can be accessed by flipping open the LCD sideways as anyone would open a door.

The next place we walked past was the interior of the MRT station, where there was a bridal advertisement with a unique drapery type of curtain where rolling it back requires a special gadget to "tuck" it back to the ceiling and as I went in to take look, it's observed that it's held by a circular motor type which will automatically "drape" the curtains.

Moving on, I was back with Jacky and Samo, discussing about his greying hair, and I suggested that he can keep the colour and play as a retired cop in Police Story 4, where he can find a cast to star as his child as teenage / young man, where I hinted it to be myself, but later told him that I had better let him do the decision as he has his own standards of selection.  The comment used was "不敢当" which I self-corrected later and said "用词不当" where he smiled at me with his signature smile, making his nose appearing swollen.  His signature smile was displayed in a room which appeared to be one of the shops which was unoccupied, along the station.  It must really be an honour to be able to work under Jacky and entering the filming world...I wondered what kind of sports does Jacky do in his free time, which I hadn't got the chance to ask him.
I was able to pull of the trick Hamg 5 and axle peg wheelie in one single attempt at I wanted to email people like King and a few old riders like Ruisheng and Jared, buf later realised that my iphonr's not with me as I'm in SAF camp; the area where I attempted the tricks was just behind the cookhouse's main entrance to non-Muslim kitchen.

I later received 2 SMSes from Tristan that he said he'a busy too as we all had no time to catch up. I walked past a fruit stall with a signboard that reads 'don't worry, there are still more which are restocking' that points to a tray of small Mandarin oranges. The stallowner's mum was telling her young daughtet, about 7 years old, to stop peeling fruits.

Switchscene to lunch suggested by Tristan, to have it outside camp at a nearby cofffeeshop and a reminder came to us as SAF personnel should be dining in camp.

6:30am.

A cool and wet-roaded Saturday while awaiting for dearie to end her lessons; a battling time till 10pm but she might be released at 9pm; we managed to lunch together with Pontian Noodles bought from Cuppage Plaza, that claimed 60 years of history, where the handmade noodles didn't turn soggy even after an hour of purchase, while it's cooped up in the container. A testomony proven on what they claimed.

iPhone's strangely not effectively charged when using it for internet access while at SIM, as the AC power outlet seemed pretty underpowered - if it was at home, a full charge could be done in 30mins or so.

Well, I guess that is what happens when you get 'free source' of power. Charging is picking up now, with Bluetooth and 3G disabled. Just get this charging over and done with so I can worry least about no power while on the move.

The lesson in the afternoon had been a little dry, but mote practise with relevant reading will enhance understanding on especially so, the graph section that we have been learning in this period of time.

Hope the lesson haven't been too boring for dearie, who was in a Lecture Theatre-turned-Incubator when the airconditoner turned off at scheduled timing.

18% done. Some heat but it's definitely a decent speed now while temperature rises around me.

I was greeted by the caller about "are you aware that the medical costs are on the rise in Singapore?"  This definitely is an agent who is trying to sell me a personal accident policies, and I told her straight that I don't need insurance as I'm fully covered.  If I was meaner, I could tell her that I underwrite all the personal accident policies in AIA.

End of call.

7:13am; a common time for me to be awake as I last saw myself in a STTS-like camp where Hassan and Talib were seen, aftee I shouted across for a guy who was riding a bike with side box was speeding, but later vehicle turned into a jeep with sand-coloured canopy. The 'speed zone' resembled that d Ubi estate.

I was with dearie walking in a place with eateries around, one with tungsten lighting recalle the message of Yvonme Lim, a church friend whom I had been missing contact with for sometime. Dearie had told me that she just met up with her and Rofino and other church friends at this tungsten-lit eatery: Pizza Hut.

A turn of the corner, I was holding on to this Precious Moment-like liquid soap dispenser, dearie liked it very much and look forward to get it 1st thing the shop opens tomorrow. As I had appeared in a 'sauna town' where dearie commented that she saw Eric Tan with a tattoo somewhere - something that I didn't expect from him.

A town central setted in and I was buying coffee from a mobile stall; first time was 4 packs of regular coffee, and I was attended by the stallowners helper who is a Filipino who can speak pretty fluent Mandarin. I had patronised thia stall the 2nd time, ordering coffee 'O' but later 4 packs appeared in my hadnds when I got home...
