Finally out of the lecture auditorium where we had been cooped up with multiple briefings back to back that promotes slumber and a painful butt due to cushionless seats not designed for extended hours sitting.
The training program had been pretty packed from all the briefings conducted, thus I forsee that we'll be having quite a tough time. This time round is a unit proficiency tests where we have a fair bit to do; fortunately my platoon are not combatants, thus most of the tests are exempted.
All these while, mind has not been put off dearie as I'll
miss her so much; I can somewhat evade trainings on Saturday afternoons but not sure if there will be a nights off on Sundays that I can go and keep her company. Is she feeling better apart from those wound pains from yesterday's surgery?
For now, free till 8pm. Good time for a nap minusing thought of wearing this silly uniform; I rather be working in office and building up OT hours for claiming.

CO's opening speech followed by a long briefing by ITI LTC who rattled on about unit proficiency test, so much to the extent of putting me into slumber under the somewhat comfortable temperature of the aircon; all tactically done, hidden from the speaker's sight.
Managed to talk to QM and DYS4 about time off, so will be showing them the time table schedule that clashes with ICT schedule - a good way to evade unnecessary work on Monday nights and on a Saturday afternoon.
Nap time for awhile.

It’s Outprocessing Day!
Not much administrative except for a few minor handovers, and then ICT survey after lunch.
I was astonished at the Letter of Commendation received from my CO, for my contribution for the setup of the live firing range, which could not be possible without the help of my loyal Band of Brothers in the QM Platoon.
The 5 year service medal was also received on the same day…another deed I had done was to help a guy recover his phone which he had dropped in the auditorium; condition of the phone suggested the owner was in dire need of the phone.
Junhao had been teased by Yusaini, myself and Mingshun who had wanted to do something funny by tagging a cleavage on his Facebook, which he was stunned when returning to the terminal; nothing done but yet he had been startled for real.
Our fellowship departure was at 3:15pm when I bade Kelvin farewell, after he gave Louis a lift and filtering out at Boon Lay Way…
I’m home Serene J
We had settled for a wonderful dinner at Sushi Tei, something to enjoy after the vigourous 6 days I had…I had appeared so much tanner compared to that before going for this incamp; it had been a good tan, but the future awaits for the Peeling of the Crisp.

I had finally turned in at 1:20AM, after returning from Pasir Laba’s Live Firing with our post –range admin done; up the hill, waterproofing those machines form the Pits of Molten Mud, under the starry night.
Just the walking up of the hill had been a pretty grueling session as I’ve done so umpteen times for the last few days, which had destroyed one of my boots.
Encik Teo had given us a Lightsabre, which was to guide our way through the darkness of the night; all armed with trash bags, and “job’s done (WC2)” was done at 12:40AM.
The walkie talkie had been buzzing non-stop and phones ringing much more often than during my non-COD days…”good business”.
The day had also been sweltering as we stayed outfield waiting to move in for r epair works, under the heat of the sun and the Sandman’s Chant of the familiar sounds of the forest insects. 98.7 FM kept me company in the wilderness while slumbering on the pillars of training shed, with little or no reception.
Those who had done much were given the green light to RTU, while I stayed back with the rest; being a Platoon Sergeant, I had my role to keep and take care of the men who are with me out in the field.

The in-pro this time seemed more efficient compared to the last time; probably due to earlier arrival at camp.
Just ended the day awhile ago after all the weapon handling and tests. It's good to see everyone again; Haizul has lost so much weight and Soh had a new addition of tattoo on his left wrist.
The morning sure dragged some reluctance due to pre-ICT blues, as I'll not be able to have that freedom. But to put it in a positive way it's a good opportunity to fellowship with my comrades once again.
I'll be collecting the contact list again so as too keep the fellowship strong, even after our ICT, as my Dopod went dead on me as I was keeping all contacts there.
Almost dinner time. I've already got a picture of the program ahead of us for the next four days till we get out on Friday. This ICT is somehow a good time for me to be away from the world while I serve my duty and to make good use of the time together, plan / strategise actions before the next move, for my online marketing campaign.

Here comes the 3rd ICT.
According to our CO, our ICT will be scheduled every Jun and Dec and so here comes the third.
Tumbling restlessly in bed, soon enough, I had already dozed off and heard the alarm of my phone at 5am. That gave me ample time to get ready to go off and have already prepared my stuff beforehand so don't have to rush at this morning.
Almost ready to move out; I could drop by 7-Eleven to get a non-camera phone so as to save the hassle of tactical bringing in of my other phone.

A warm night just before I go back for my Call of Duty 3 which will last for 5 days.
The wait at the hairdresser had been a long one as I needed to keep my hair neat before going for the duty reporting tomorrow, my battle on cyberspace for glory is still ongoing and I must succeed at that for me to be happy.
Let's hope all is smooth while I carry out my duties.
