I guess I was a little bushed before I could write this. Involuntary 'detention' just minutes before I was preparing my way to depart battlebox as I have to go to town area to collect some stuff.

I predicted that Queen will be asking for the unnecessary data that won't be useful and true enough, there she went. A workstation that was switched off have to be turned on again for the very purpose of all these extra work.

So there goes an hour quandered on unproductiveness. I thought there was a chance for me to kill some mobs in Diablo later in the evening when I was settled down at home (man, that stomach was howling like a wolf by the time I got home at 7pm). Patching update...so there goes an avenue for me to unload those mental baggage.

I could lug my gear out but considering the cloud patterns, it suggests a stormy evening awaiting to veil the whole island in.

Laying down to get some mental unwinding may be the best option...for now.

The battlebox was like surrounding a Frenzied Shrine where all of us were thrown into a moment of anxiety for the unnecessary, all thanks to the jumpy nature of the Queen.

That was Wave 1.

The next occurence was shortly after where another client came and gave wild guesses of what's outstanding. Queen as usual did not read the document properly and all of got reprimanded for nothing.

That was Wave 2.

Not a single apology though she admitted reprimanding us infront of client. Was it pride that blinded her from even saying these simple words? Or is it the usual saying goes: 'perfect bosses, perfect clients, but imperfect staff)?

Some of us chose the latter option when there was an impromptu lunch arranged, and that was, to have our own without all the awardness. Afterall, it's better to have our own space during the lunchbreak.

2nd half of the day remains for me. I wonder what kind of surprises there will be apart from the 'detention' yesterday evening at the last minute. I had better occupy my evenings productively so that they can't keep me at the last hour.

Today's dearie's last paper and finally her tough sessions will be over. That leaves the rest of the week for her free mentally, and we can all get ready for our weekend trip.

Weekend's looking positive for both of us!

Back to 2 Sig Bn camp where there was some treasure hunt going on and one of the lady officers could not resolve a riddle which suggest some place in the building where the treasure packet was kept.   It stated "in the unseen shadows".  So all of us decided to brainstorm and map out where exactly this place could be.

One of the guys (he resembled one of my men Davin back then) started sketching.  They narrowed down to the QM office and later found that it could be a place near where Nancy sat (surprisingly she is "sent" to work in this unit) so thereafter, we decided to check it out.

During the way, we saw some of the combat companies loading and testing some giant batteries which looks like they have some hydraulic legs which was supposed to retract when you power off it.   The journey there was a little longer; building seems to vary alot and we had to pass through some in the building garage and saw some places which were grilled off by green fencing even from the gap which you can see the upper level diagonally from that level.

Going down, we had to go past some "bunks" and as it was still in the silent hours, we had to walk quietly past these sleeping soldiers and finally found our way to the QM's office.  I found the packet and it was covered in a printed red packet with traditional Chinese motifs.  Quite a big packet though which I checked using the LED light on my Blackberry.

We reached a clearout later and found out that this prize was actually a Blackberry phone.  There's this duo who are always together (like some of the duo bodyguards in some Taiwanese serials) and the lady officer decided to give this to them as a gift.  Unusually, the box containing the Blackberry phone was shrunk small after packing it up, till it was the size of a souvenir box.  The mission was over.

My eyes opened and it was 7:42am.
A couple of surprises I got before going lunch today; 1 of them was some "catwoman" who called demanding for 'instantaneous answer" to her query that had to be attended asap, while the other wa a colleague's friend who mistook me for a woman. Especially for the 2nd occurrence, it had been quite baffling as I don't possess the metrosexual look of some of those Korean / Japanese male celebrities who might qualify better with countenance matching their long crowning glory.

Weather's hot as usual. I had to seek refuge quickly after getting my mid-day refuelling session nearby battlebox.

I hope this evening will not be filled with 'kinder's surprise' again as I continue to maintain the equilibrium. Just another 3.5 hours to go before home run.

This morning's unusal dreamland adventure is pretty surprising as I had been through many places. Though it was just 5 hours, it seemed pretty far-stretched and certainly enjoyable. Could this be interpreted as astral travelling?

We were given a mission by this villian when we raided and entered his base; 4 groups of us were engulfed in a gel of some kind which we have to ensure that it doesn't solidify.  The fastest and most effective way was to hit against a glass object and the gel-like substance around us will shatter.

The 4 of us also contained the Super Gangsters, of which, Ruisheng and Yide were somehow in deep slumber and I had to drag them out of bed to "prevent extinction.  Cutscene showing us engaging an enemy in some air battle.  We had attempted to get clearance from Control, where our overseas mobile connection was limited and got the help of some representatives (one of them resembled an ex colleague, Justin) where he could get connection direct via a slide on some butons in the phone.  From the holographic image, Control had told them that they have to keep the signal minimal and this is the best they could do to "control cost" of the outgoing overseas call that were made.

Mission of close combat:  we left the enemy pilot in a beehive form as we managed to fly close and fired the machine guns point blank from the rear.

After this mission was done, all of us were chilling out in Kevin's gigantic bathtub which looks more like a jaccuzi room.  He had this mouthpiece bitten on that resembled those sci-fi shows where an injured person will be put in a water-filled container and breathes through this apparatus covering the nose and mouth.  He had some comments that it was so drab bored; seems like he was troubled about something.

I was then going back to a place in UK to pick up something; the streets were cold and everyone could be seen putting on cold wear attire.  I brought a friend along and told her "welcome home" as this was the place that I was more comfortable with than the tiny island where things are getting so expensive.

Found this provision shop and there were these 2 new staffs whom seem pretty mischevious; one of them was restless and kept talking to other staff while serving customers making purchase at the cashier.  His companion, who was supposed to be helping him was dressed inappropriately in bikini attire, as it going to the beach or something.  Prior to this, the supervisor had also told them "this is not HQ" as they had just completed training and still had the mindset of being very laidback.

A scene which was like the endtimes in mansion, I could see orange aura coming forth which was like a force that will consume everything; I was with Helen (a former colleague who is also now DX) and we had to grab what we need before the coming of the Messiah.  The "essence" of the end times, according to her was to look humble and bring with us only the bare minimal.  On her, which she later put down was a B&W camera of the olden days where one has to place it on a wooden tripod and go under a black cloth to get a picture through the viewfinder.  It turned bright orange in a seemingly possible sign that it would burst into explosion.

"We can't carry that" was what Helen told me.

The best thing we could do right now is to find the "bare essentials" ie snacks, tidbits or whatever simple things to fill this bag we have to show that we have the "bare minimal".  Candies & snacks we have in our possession were placed into this bag (resembling a simple pencil case) and some which we could find on the dining hall's desk were also taken and place into this bag.

Final scene; I was walking along this pathway just outside Tampines Mall and saw a familiar face; Mel Richard, an ex army comrade regular serviceman is now peddling his bicycle and living the life of a rag-and-bone man.  Quite a baffling sight but he seems happy.  I reached my bus stop and while waiting for a bus, saw this black guy who started to wiggle, pop and dance to some music while a couple more of his like-minded friends joined in.  Surprisingly, the other commuters waiting at the bus stop seemed oblivious to their behaviour and the music which one of them was broadcasting while they danced to the rhythm.  This black guy at one moment was also mimicking Eminem as he was wearing a hoodie and rapped exactly like him.  After they had their medley of hip hop movements, he took out his suede vest which had a unique zippered front, that resumbled the Wizard's attire in Diablo 3.

Eyes opened; 2:15am.

A very hot day indeed. Not a blemish of grey clouds in the skies today since sunrise and it looks like this high temperature season is already starting. Best climate for laundry and being out there for some under the sun activities.

That reminds me that I should be resuming my running regime soon as I have been on the hiatus for a couple of weeks - all in view of not overstretching myself to clear that IPPT I have to fulfill within the 1st 9 months of the window after the new system has been implimented.

Our much awaited trip to KL is coming again very soon. So here's our chance once again to get out there to enjoy the weekend together after dearie's final paper which will be ending this week. With the current climate, we should be able to move around KL without much inconvenience on the weather.

It's been awhile since I wrote here as it has been a pretty busy season so right now, a good time catch up penning things down that has occured recently. The past week had been done well with the finishing of things at mainstream during the decent hours and getting to see the light on my way back to homebase.

Shall be looking forward to maintaining this equilibrium.

Hope you get this on time, I made a quick trip to Westminster, UNITED KINGDOM and had my bag stolen from me  with my passport and credit cards in it. The embassy is willing to help by letting me fly without my passport, I just have to pay for a ticket and settle Hotel bills. Unfortunately for me, I can't have access to funds without my credit card, I've made contact with my bank but they need more time to come up with a new one. I was thinking of asking you to lend me some quick funds that I can pay back asap. I really need to be on the next available flight.

I was told Western Union  Money Transfer is the fastest way and  best option to receive  money down here. Let me know if you can be of assistance so i will forward my detail in my next reply asap which you will use. You can reach me via email cos i do not have access to phone now just my email.

I await your response....

Free lunch for some people and even a client who dropped by to submit some documents are also invited.

What a way to share their generosity.

The unnecessary fumble yesterday evening was really unnecessary as the 'rush' was to prepare something which was not needed during the morning when one of Queen's prospect came in.

Anyhow, I'll still leave battlebox once the day's work has been completed any time after the 'contracted hour'.

This evening shall be sunlight sighted.

It's one of those quieter mornings where I could do some work in peace before the Queen comes in and casts her 'Frenzied' spell.

Every weekend ended with a kind of fatigue which comes only when the evening draws to a closure. It's never enough when our Saturday is burnt at battlebox. I guess this drag-feel is something which spells the necessity to move on.

Year One is coming soon.

Just another 3.5hours to go when I hit back to battlebox in about 1/2 hour's time. Hopefully, no 'storm' during the last hour or so when we are tasked to do things in the detour manner.

This number has apparently called 3 times within an hour!  Let's see if UOB still denies it.
I saw myself in a wildlife national park where the place was as huge as the wild and literally minimal human intervention done. Here I am, in this park and there seem to be some brawl going on where a man was killed but some people were plotting to make it look like he was assaulted by the animals roaming freely around the park.

Cops were called in and a guy extracted his halbard-like weapon from the corpse. It appeared to be part of a 15-unit assembled equipment which not a single part gave the hint it is a potentially dangerous weapon. When the police reached the scene, no one breathed a word and the body was carried out of the park. For now, this case will be undergoing investigations.

Seems that this culprit was someone within the group that I was in when we visited the park.

Next scene showed me moving off the place and in a patch of wilderness, tree trunks with severed top were spotted in large acres across the land. It was identical to one scene in Lord of the Rings where the edge of Fangorn Forests had been tainted by the orcs.

Moving on, I was switched to a scene in Hougang where I had visited before, now; the place where the newly-built carpark is, are in place a basketball court where I could see a big group of men dressed in Japanese wear (only wrapped at the waist) practising some axe melee warfare. The group was at least 100 people in it.

The next place I visited was where I saw Donnie Yen, who taught me the fundamentals of Wing Chun along with some brawling which he exhibits in some of the shows he had done in the past years. He taught me how to judge the opponent's movement and when is the right time reflexes gives the upper hand.

Eyes opens. 7:08am.

Seems like a deep slumber thought 6 hours had just passed on in a whiff of moment.

The next 3 months has been guaranteed freedom as I had fulfilled the requirement on IPPT for this year.

The slumber spell has finally faded off after being in either the sun, shade or simply just the weather. Seems like most people get this kind of sensation during a short span of hours during the day which sometimes fades off without a sign.

Weekend is here again. I should be out this afternoon since weather is so sunny today.

Right now, a maintenance phase for my crowning glory.

This number has a habit to call me during office hours.  Suspected it is UOB from what I read though they have denied.

I got this call twice today; suspected it's another telemarketer trying their luck.
10 more minutes and I have to return to that battlebox though my full hour of lunch break is not up yet. A colleague had asked me something at an incorrect timing where I was about to depart battlebox, but it's not an issue. What matters and everdisturbing is, the frugality that these 2 are with timeliness.

Take without giving is their style.

I can't say more than enough about the kind of ideology they impose on people who work for them, but should I write down point by point, it could well form a few chapters. I guess that's why people who know them, and are smart enough, refuse to be undercut and succumb to all their nonsense and what have you.

The portal of free mind will be closed in 5 minutes so it'll be continued at a later time.

3.5 hours to go. Anything from the 3.51st shall fall outside my purview from today onwards.

I had appeared in this place where the 'invasion' had taken place in the form of neon green characters in a pitch black space mutating from legible text to some legged, body-less creatures that broke off from the structure upon their transformation.

The scene was switched to myself trying to infiltrate into a building that had been taken over by these beings but they are now in a humanoid form. I fired a few shots from the laser sniper but did not get a perfect shot as desired.

Quickly, I had moved into a nearer spot and could see the commander who exited the spacecraft. It was like pieces of scenes from Star Wars movie.

I couldn't make out what was said but soon after, I heard myself talking and catching up with an old friend. Soon, the alarm rang and it was time to get up at 7:05am.

Back to the dull, drab life of having to be tied in a clownsuit and planted within the 4 walls for an unpredictable no of hours, which, is subject to 'tripped alarms' just like the malfunction of fire alarm systems which require 'unnecessary rectification measures' when that occurs.

Weather is picking up on temperature after that shower in the early hours. However, peaceful hours is short since the King and Queen had came in a little earlier than usual.

Seems like my ideas of solving matters in a different approach are not being considered. Is it because 'age is seniority' in some people's perception, or in this case, the pride that has constantly been blinding them?

Whatever the situation is, I really don't bother that much for now. What I'm more concerned is my long leave in August which not a single whiff of news has been heard; however, I foresee that there will be an occurrence of 'lecture before approval' just like what I had to hear, see and be disturbed for a very simple thing called my entitlement.

Solitary lunchbreaks are good in this sense when one has some thoughts to be penned down - what some calls it 'mental deposit / unloading'.

Looking forward to a departure where there is light.

Another lunchtime but this time, I have more time as I had a 2nd dumpling with compliments from a colleague who doesn't want to have it.

I've finally reached another Friday - exactly 1 week from the date where I had been annoyed by the involuntary detention that dearie had waited for me for 2 good hours - a whole lot of time wasted by Queen for asking the wrong things at the wrong time.

Hope this doesn't happen again this evening. Maybe that's the reason dearie decided not to meet me at battlebox zone especially when there is such a high potential of myself having to be 'locked down'. Hence I look forward to another 'departure before sundown' evening so that I can spend quality time with dearie after a week's battle.

The usual screaming of children from the kids' hairdresser today isn't that terrible as I had some peace in the morning before Queen's arrival. Things can possibly be different later so I had better brace up.

Hope dearie's paper today had been good.

Sent via my BlackBerry
Today's pace seemed a little faster and a stranger who was running greeted me when I ran past him; hopefully he didn't mistaken me for someone else he had seen regularly or me being of the opposite gender.

Anyhow, he could simply just be friendly.

The fuel I had today could not bring me further; and in view of my upcoming IPPT, I decided to keep the distance not to overpowering.  Furthermore, with the loss of light at this hour, my usual path might be a little unsafe as the last 500m before my U-turn point are usually massively littered with broken twigs, branches and "natural debris" along with unkempt vegetation along the pavements.

I made it while keeping the pace constant; the only discomfort I had was the soaked socks which rubbed against my toes over an extended period of time.  It's time I get a decent pair of durable socks, or those toe-shoes that can wicker off perspiration of the feet without the need of wearing socks.

It's a Thursday and the 7km point did not have the any signs of regular fishermen who would make themselves at home with some comfort items while waiting for their bait.  Could it be the Malay supernatural folklore that kept them away from such places on this particular day of the week?  No point thinking about such creeps.
Another blazingly hot afternoon. Today's dearie's 1st paper which hopefully won't be too tough for her considering all the preparation she has done.

Just one more day to mark the end of this week, but I will still have to do my IPPT on Saturday. With the new system, all of us have to clear it within the 1st 9 months of our window.

The morning had been pretty peaceful with King and Queen's presence so that we could carry on with our ongoings.

Hope there won't be any unnecessary disruptions later so that I can finish early and prepare for tonight's race. It'll be a good, first long distance run I will be doing for this month.

I simply love that title when I saw this travel email I had received from Agoda, one of the best hotel deal website for my travel accomodation references.  One place that I will definitely need for some good air.

Feeling a little rapid in my breathing this evening; probably due to the long-endured stress that had been brought about from Battlebox where one's patience tends to be stretched in many ways.  Anyhow, this evening was completed with some peace.  Hope the rest of the week will be well for all of us.
The morning had been awakened by the sudden downpour in the wee hours of the morning, several rings on the alarm clock before I finally awoken near 8am.

Another day to be done at battlebox.

A very welcoming shower that made the morning weather much cooler but I don't know what else lies ahead when I hit battlebox this morning.

Thinking about it won't make the day rosier hence I decided to place my mind in something I would enjoy very much.

Just keep my fingers crossed.

This is just another moment that I terribly dislike; a SCUD launched to me from last night when I did my part but not to the Queen's satisfaction that she went to rant about it to King; all for the sake of impressing and looking good but at the cost of her own people.

I'll be expecting a storm this afternoon I suppose.

From what I see, this is how true to what many people call '2nd childhood' when a person hits the golden age; every little thing could be picked on even when things are done very much in the correct manner, but...they still like to intervene and make thing suit their style even though it actually leads to a detour; and guess what, it backfires on us and we take the blame for not telling them upfront after that. But when they made a mistake, little or no apology is received.

I'm not here to lay hate tales, but from the observation point, there are so many things that I had spotted over almost a year of stay here. Like the saying goes: 'we have perfect bosses, perfect client...' But in their eyes, imperfect staffs.

It's only the middle of the week and such undue stress are already placed on all of us. What more for the next 2 days; I won't be quite positive about what else will they come up with.

Run was completed in 72 minutes, but once again, the GPS on my iPhone had failed to function and capture the exact distance made.

11.35km was an estimation as the plotting manually will be all too tedious.

It was one of the slowest-paced off my usual track at East Coast Park where the routes are continuous and non-interruptive by any junctions of other sort of roads.

I will need to do some proper planning for this alternative road near my neighbourhood.

What an ear-shrilling afternoon. All were called in for a meeting but what I see now is myself being 'target practice' for King and Queen to unload their rounds at me infront of others.

I have done my part but there had constantly been an avenue of refusal to listen, except for laying their own 'rules' to do things the way they think is right. There are always several ways to do one thing; of which, this matter had been something we have been working very hard on during their absence.

Seems like old (but lopsided) saying goes: when one does well, words of praise fill the room - 5 minutes of fame. But when one does wrong, it echos 'through the ages'...

I had better get my ear checked some day.

Sent via my BlackBerry
I had been looking forward to this lunch hour where I can seek some mental recovery, however, before I could step out for lunch, I have already sensed the upcoming storm from Queen.

Looks like a torrential afternoon lies ahead.

This had been the ongoing matter that I had learnt from resources around me, that the most capable people who had came by this place had left on bad blood grounds with both King and Queen. There had been numerous incidents that she had a good dressing down by these capable people on their last day. But did she ever learn?

One of them during his time here, was assigned to manage leave matters also had this duty 'revoked' as they don't seem to trust his judgement. Now, some news seem to float by her ears about his visit to us during their absence and she had hinted a 'ban'.

I can foresee that the journey here wouldn't be a smooth voyage till the time that comes for me to be 'unplugged'. If dearie's ex environment was terrible, I can't put a word to describe this place.

Queenstorm begins in 10mins, or rightfully 20 where I deserve my hour's break.

This number called me again. This time, it's on a Sunday. I won't bother returning call as I suspected it to be spam call.

Finally the Saturday's coming - a public holiday which many devotees wil be swarming the temples to offer their prayers on Vesak Day.

Some of my friends who are locals will be heading back to their country for this occasion. Looks like the streets will most likely be quieter in the morning.

It took me awhile to enter slumber last night as I have been charged up after that run, which I would deem as a 'warm-up'. However, I needed that fix to make sure that I'm on schedule.

3 full weeks ahead to meet the end of the month as 2 PHs in a week constitutes to 'vacation droughts' till the next PH; which will be a few more multiples of weeks ahead.

The break from battlebox will be over soon; so it's time to get back and finish up the last 3.5hrs before meeting dearie. Hopefully, no more mobile disturbance this evening after I leave battlebox.

I'm taking a new route around my neighbourhood as I had to get back early and have some fuel loaded before doing my run.

Familiarisation is needed.

I have unknowing slipped into slumber soon after production works the night before. The morning was greeted by the familiar sonar alert set on my phone at 630am.

Gone are the days when one would wake up to the sound of an alarm clock since our phones had gotten smarter with a built-in alarm where the user can even set a schedule to ring on certain days in a week.

The morning was rather sunny and as expected, a rain would occur in the afternoon. Seems like this monsoon will go on for awhile till we arrive at a hotter season of the year.

As usual, my mind had been placed with what I really enjoyed doing than what goes on in battlebox. Queen must have ranted to King about my speedy action that I had been called in this morning for some 'guidance'. Seems like there's a vast difference in the way I operate, though effective, against their style.

I can't help thinking ahead about the 3 more months and my long leave will commence. However, there's still no concrete confirmation to date, which I see no reason for any declination to let me take a week off.

It's a little pointless to think about it for now.

I saw myself visiting this ancient town in Japan where most of the villagers are tradesmen themselves. It all ranged from cobblers, keymakers or blacksmiths.

This time, another venture or outing with one of the SIGs, and I saw familir faces like Ting Guan and Dennis whom I know personally.

We walked through towns, villages and capturing most of those tradesmen while at work. There were a couple of temples / shrines we had seen and visited. However, at these 2 shrines we had visited, the unusual occured.

In the courtyard of the first shrine; finished in blue walls and bare concrete, we could see a few servants dressed in traditional kimonos and moving around with their errands. Most of them were friendly; but at a certain time of the day, a particular one of them would turn into someone who looks ghostly, along with a stalking behaviour while we move around the place. After awhile, this spell would be gone and she would return to normal behaviour and appearance just like anyone else. Now it seems that this person is one of the members in our group.

It certainly was a disturbing sight.

Weather had now turned rainy and we all sought refuge at another shelter. That was when our group had the chance to have a small chat and I shared with them about this ghostly lady who seemed to be a member of our group. I told them to keep it among ourselves and not to alert the other participants whom we had brought along with us for this trip.

The next visit was to another shrine and this village is mostly comprised of houses made with some straw-like material, which gave the whole place a golden-yellow aura at dusk and sunset.

We had moved into one of the houses; villager ladies were dressed in dark blue kimono (a little rougher materialed) where there were some tribal ritual ongoing and as guests, we were invited to sit in.

Once again, at a certain time, one of the female members had transformed into the ghostly person we saw earlier. We all had to move out and take cover as the scenario looked hostile this time.

Dennis had already filmed down the whole scenario on his 5DMKII as it has a FPS which was equivalent to that of a full-fledged video camera. We are all safe for now while hiding in cover, so when we get back, we ought to publish a video production of the place and its occult occurrences.

A endless beep of the a sonar beep. 630am.
