We had a dinner at The Straits Cafe, Hotel Rendevous, which was a treat from dearie. The buffet there looks something different compared to many hotels' buffet deals.

Weather had been a little rainy as we parked along Selegie conserved shophouses.

There was a spead - from cooked local delights to sashimi, oyster...the list goes on. We had some pita bread with kebab, sea bass, oysters, several servings of sashimi and some salads. We didn't go for those we can eat everyday in coffeeshops since we don't come here often.

The dinner had completed with puddings, durian pengnets (we had 6 in all), fondue, fruits and ice creams. However, later on, dearie had exceeded her eating capacity and delivered 4 "flushes" of mouthful, "mango fondue". I guess that was her limit, and what people say about buffets, "eat till you vomit" had been displayed live.

I had maintained my composure and we took a slow walk back to make our way home.
