Another lunchtime but this time, I have more time as I had a 2nd dumpling with compliments from a colleague who doesn't want to have it.

I've finally reached another Friday - exactly 1 week from the date where I had been annoyed by the involuntary detention that dearie had waited for me for 2 good hours - a whole lot of time wasted by Queen for asking the wrong things at the wrong time.

Hope this doesn't happen again this evening. Maybe that's the reason dearie decided not to meet me at battlebox zone especially when there is such a high potential of myself having to be 'locked down'. Hence I look forward to another 'departure before sundown' evening so that I can spend quality time with dearie after a week's battle.

The usual screaming of children from the kids' hairdresser today isn't that terrible as I had some peace in the morning before Queen's arrival. Things can possibly be different later so I had better brace up.

Hope dearie's paper today had been good.

Today's pace seemed a little faster and a stranger who was running greeted me when I ran past him; hopefully he didn't mistaken me for someone else he had seen regularly or me being of the opposite gender.

Anyhow, he could simply just be friendly.

The fuel I had today could not bring me further; and in view of my upcoming IPPT, I decided to keep the distance not to overpowering.  Furthermore, with the loss of light at this hour, my usual path might be a little unsafe as the last 500m before my U-turn point are usually massively littered with broken twigs, branches and "natural debris" along with unkempt vegetation along the pavements.

I made it while keeping the pace constant; the only discomfort I had was the soaked socks which rubbed against my toes over an extended period of time.  It's time I get a decent pair of durable socks, or those toe-shoes that can wicker off perspiration of the feet without the need of wearing socks.

It's a Thursday and the 7km point did not have the any signs of regular fishermen who would make themselves at home with some comfort items while waiting for their bait.  Could it be the Malay supernatural folklore that kept them away from such places on this particular day of the week?  No point thinking about such creeps.
Another blazingly hot afternoon. Today's dearie's 1st paper which hopefully won't be too tough for her considering all the preparation she has done.

Just one more day to mark the end of this week, but I will still have to do my IPPT on Saturday. With the new system, all of us have to clear it within the 1st 9 months of our window.

The morning had been pretty peaceful with King and Queen's presence so that we could carry on with our ongoings.

Hope there won't be any unnecessary disruptions later so that I can finish early and prepare for tonight's race. It'll be a good, first long distance run I will be doing for this month.

I simply love that title when I saw this travel email I had received from Agoda, one of the best hotel deal website for my travel accomodation references.  One place that I will definitely need for some good air.

Feeling a little rapid in my breathing this evening; probably due to the long-endured stress that had been brought about from Battlebox where one's patience tends to be stretched in many ways.  Anyhow, this evening was completed with some peace.  Hope the rest of the week will be well for all of us.
The morning had been awakened by the sudden downpour in the wee hours of the morning, several rings on the alarm clock before I finally awoken near 8am.

Another day to be done at battlebox.

A very welcoming shower that made the morning weather much cooler but I don't know what else lies ahead when I hit battlebox this morning.

Thinking about it won't make the day rosier hence I decided to place my mind in something I would enjoy very much.

Just keep my fingers crossed.

This is just another moment that I terribly dislike; a SCUD launched to me from last night when I did my part but not to the Queen's satisfaction that she went to rant about it to King; all for the sake of impressing and looking good but at the cost of her own people.

I'll be expecting a storm this afternoon I suppose.

From what I see, this is how true to what many people call '2nd childhood' when a person hits the golden age; every little thing could be picked on even when things are done very much in the correct manner, but...they still like to intervene and make thing suit their style even though it actually leads to a detour; and guess what, it backfires on us and we take the blame for not telling them upfront after that. But when they made a mistake, little or no apology is received.

I'm not here to lay hate tales, but from the observation point, there are so many things that I had spotted over almost a year of stay here. Like the saying goes: 'we have perfect bosses, perfect client...' But in their eyes, imperfect staffs.

It's only the middle of the week and such undue stress are already placed on all of us. What more for the next 2 days; I won't be quite positive about what else will they come up with.

Run was completed in 72 minutes, but once again, the GPS on my iPhone had failed to function and capture the exact distance made.

11.35km was an estimation as the plotting manually will be all too tedious.

It was one of the slowest-paced off my usual track at East Coast Park where the routes are continuous and non-interruptive by any junctions of other sort of roads.

I will need to do some proper planning for this alternative road near my neighbourhood.
